About Us – Who We Are and Why We Do What We Love!
Photography preserves the moments the heart never wants to forget.
We are picel – a family studio filled with heart and dedication
We met long before picel was even an idea—but from the very beginning, we shared one thing: our love for dogs. Even back then, we spent every free moment with animals, dreamed of a life filled with creativity, and felt most at home wherever humans and dogs formed a true team. Over time, not only did our relationship grow, but so did our little family: first one dog moved in, then two—and eventually we couldn’t imagine life without our three loyal companions. Each of them taught us something important: patience, trust, and how much happiness lies in the smallest moments.
When our son was born—now a cheerful and curious two-year-old—we realized just how precious memories truly are. And the best part: he loves dogs just as much as we do. He grows up with them, plays with them, laughs with them—and shows us every day how pure and natural the bond between a child and a dog can be.
From this, our passion for dog photography was born: capturing moments you can never relive, but can feel forever.
The Pack
This is us – five hearts that belong together.
Charlie & Bijou
Charlie is a very special mixed breed—half Husky, half Australian Shepherd—and he has been by our side for an incredible ten years. Even though he’s considered a “senior,” you’d hardly notice it: he’s still full of energy, curiosity, and pure joy for life. On top of that, Charlie is extremely well socialized and gets along beautifully with every dog—calm, confident, and endlessly friendly. He has taught us how much wisdom lives in a dog who has seen the world for so long, and how valuable every single day together truly is.
Bijou, on the other hand, is our little whirlwind—a Breton with plenty of hunting instinct and even more heart. As a pointing dog, he is trained for the field and shows an impressive blend of focus, elegance, and passion. Yet at home, he becomes the sweetest companion—seeking closeness, playing, cuddling, and reminding us every day just how unique and soulful dogs can be.
Jenny
Jenny has an exceptional talent for capturing both dynamic action moments and calm studio portraits with deep emotion. She notices details others overlook—turning every moment into something truly heartfelt.
David
David is only two years old, but his curiosity for technology and cameras is already enormous. His first little photo attempts are surprisingly good—and full of heart. And of course, he already loves helping out with shipping, too.
Daniel
Daniel loves being outdoors, discovering the world through the eyes of dogs—and that’s exactly why he leads our adventure photography with so much passion.
